Tutoring Services
My online tutoring sessions are currently offered on Outschool, a safe and innovative educational platform. Outschool runs background checks on all educators and provides families with protected Zoom links to ensure the safety of your child. Below, you will view what I currently offer and how to successfully sign up for classes with me!
Flow of Classes:
Trial Class:
Experience the flow of a Strong Roots Learning class with Ms. Thibault! You and Ms. Thibault will get to know each other, and have an in-depth discussion about the learning needs of your student. Your student’s voice is important! They will be doing most of the talking. By the end of your trial class, you will have a personalized learning plan for future tutoring classes to ensure your student is reaching their academic goals.
Assessment:
The first few classes will consist of relaxed assessments in the academic area your student needs most. Ms. Thibault will create a safe space, and guide the student through the assessment. These assessments will aid Ms. Thibault in evaluating your student’s areas of strengths and area’s of growths. The assessments may run for multiple class sections for Ms. Thibault to get an accurate reading of your student’s academic abilities.
1-on-1 Tutoring:
Goals - Based on the results of the assessment, your student and Ms. Thibault will work together to create personalized goals they will work towards together. Each class, these goals will be revisited and adjusted as your student masters them.
Instruction - Each class will be tailored to your student’s goals. Students will engage in explicit instruction, practice problems, and occasional academic games. Ms. Thibault will explain concepts in a way that makes sense to YOUR student. No student learns the same…so no teaching method is the same! Students will engage in short brain breaks, fun explanations, and have real conversations with Ms. Thibault to sustain engagement and stamina.

Grades: 2nd - 8th
Subjects: Math, Reading, Writing, and Science
Duration: 25 min or 50 min sessions
Pricing:
25 minute sessions: $40/session
50 minute sessions: $80/session
What Am I Paying For?
Not only are you receiving one-on-one instruction for your student, you are receiving unique lesson plans that are created ONLY for your student. Each lesson is carefully constructed based on your student’s specific academic goals and current growth track.
How Do I Sign Up?
Click on this link to my Outschool profile and automatically get a $20 credit towards your first class.
You will be prompted to make an Outschool account for your student.
Scroll down to the bottom of my profile and locate the section “Taught by This Educator”.
Select a trial class for 1-1 tutoring, and click the “see all available times” to schedule your trial class!

During our trial class, I will give you the information needed to schedule weekly 1-on-1 tutoring sessions!
